The coupling coefficient measuring instrument portable IKSP - m is intended for measurement of coefficient of coupling of pavings at construction and repair of highways, periodic and current control of condition of pavings.
The device imitates process of sliding of the blocked automobile wheel on paving.
The principle of operation of the measuring instrument is based on determination of size of horizontal movement on the humidified covering of the boot simulator of car tire pressed to covering at an angle 45 °. As source for clip and movement of boot simulator kinetic energy of certain mass of the load which is freely falling on vertical bar from certain height is used. The size of the horizontal movement pressed to the humidified covering of boot simulator depends on coefficient of coupling in which shares the otschetny scale of the device is graduated.
